The successful

Product Development Engineer,

will join a team of dedicated engineers with the goal of pushing the edge of what is possible with professional audio products. Success in this role requires a strong interest in

product design, acoustics, physics, design for manufacture

and the drive to perform in a competitive industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Product design with a focus on Design for Manufacturability Participate in product planning and conceptual design Prototype and source material for new products Develop and analyze 3D models of parts and assemblies Develop BOMs from CAD drawings Participate in NPI initiatives Analyze prototypes and produced product for deficiencies, defects and potential improvements

Skills and Qualifications

Completion of a minimum of bachelors degree in Physics or Engineering Proven experience bringing finished products to market Good sense of design with some related experience Working knowledge of a wide variety of CNC machines would be an asset Strong CAD skills Experience with FEA / BEM Software (COMSOL, Ansys, etc.). Familiarity with acoustic principals is an asset (can be learned). Able to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent leadership, mentoring and organizational skills. Sound verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, computer and problem-solving skills.
