Job Description

As a Product Category Manager, you get the opportunity to do just that! In this position you will create inspirational high-quality (and of course sustainable) travel products to meet our customers\' needs and to ensure Intrepid has a well-rounded, comprehensive \'Family\' product range.

This position is an integral part of our business as you\'ll not only be creating the products our customers enjoy but you will also review and refine exisiting products, seek out gaps in our offering and remove any underperforming products.

This is a full-time permanent position, that can be based out of any of our key hubs - London, Toronto or Melbourne on a hybrid basis, and we are also open to remote candidates providing they have experience working remotely on a global scale previously.

A love of travel is a must have! With it you\'ll bring:

Experience in managing a travel product portfolio with a strong commercial and customer focus

Any experience focusing on family related travel products would be highly advantageous

Hands-on experience in designing and implementing product development strategy informed by customer and market research

Experience working with destination management companies and third-party suppliers, with strong cost negotiation skills

Strong knowledge of global tourism and travel sales trends

Experience in supporting sales, PR, and marketing team to advocate for and promote products to customers

Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to travel for up to 6 weeks per year, so a high degree of flexibility is needed. Most importantly you will have strong cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate while building strong relationship - All while aligning to Intrepid\'s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.
