Job Summary:



We are looking for a highly driven and technically proficient Product Associate to join our dynamic Product Team. This role plays a key part in product development, engineering design, prototyping, quality assurance, and technical support across our portfolio of high-performance off-road components. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about motorsports and powersports. You will work cross-functionally to drive innovation, troubleshoot product issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives from concept through to production and post-launch analysis.

Key Responsibilities:



Apply strong technical knowledge to support the development and improvement of ATV/UTV components. Design and prototype new products using CAD and 3D printing technologies. Create and maintain 2D/3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks. Conduct functional testing of 3D printed prototypes and analyze performance. Troubleshoot product issues and perform root cause analysis for quality or warranty concerns Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Apply engineering best practices (DFMEA, DFM/A, DVP&R, APQP). Prepare technical documentation, reports, and test results. Assist in production troubleshooting and support product launches. Stay up to date with new technologies in additive manufacturing and materials. Support technical meetings, trade shows, and product presentations. Conduct research on new and existing products within the powersports market

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering 3+ years in automotive/powersports design/R&D or product-engineering support. SolidWorks or CATIA; basic GD&T; strong print reading/markup. Familiarity with SAE/ISO/ASTM standards; common materials & fasteners. Support DVP&R; perform basic lab/bench tests; reliable data capture and reporting. Working knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA and APQP/PPAP basics; exposure to 8D/control plans/SPC; disciplined ECR/ECO execution. Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and simple dashboards. Clear, concise communication with engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional (non-technical) teams. Comfortable with PLM/ERP concepts; strong documentation habits. Prototyping; metrology (calipers/gauges; CMM exposure); basic fixtures/jigs. Awareness of linear-static FEA and tolerance stack-ups; Jira/Asana familiarity. Basics of anodize, e-coat, powder coat, and heat-treat. Off-road/ATV/UTV, motorcycle, e-bike, or performance-aftermarket exposure.
