Reporting to the Director, Pharmaceutical Transformation, the Product Analyst is an integral part of the Pharmaceutical Transformation team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting ongoing product management activities for drug benefit products, creating and managing scorecards, tracking KPIs and improving processes. As someone who is innovative and result-driven, you will work closely with other members of the Pharmaceutica Benefits and Innovation team to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding solutions to our clients and stay competitive in the market.

Previous group benefits experience

Degree in mathematics, finance or accounting

Knowledge of Sun Life databases and understanding of drug data

Qualifications

Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems while maintaining accuracy and a keen attention to detail

Prior experience with process improvement and scorecards management

Proficient with Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills, including macros, and Access database

Strong working knowledge with Tableau and SQL queries

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to translate technical details into easy-to-use solutions

Strong project management skills

Strong presentation skills

Strong client focus

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

Responsibilities

Create and revise data analytics reports in Excel, SQL, Tableau and/or Access

Analyze data to derive insights that help guide the decision-making process

In collaboration with Pharmacists, Product Managers and Product Specialists, identify opportunities for process improvements and streamlining. Champion and lead the development of the required solutions. Document requirements and test solutions.

Develop, implement and maintain scorecards and OKRs for products managed within the portfolio

Proactively identify continuous improvements opportunities

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for reporting and analytics inquiries

Build strong relationships within Group Benefits, key internal and external stakeholders

Act as a Subject Matter Expert in product reporting inquiries

Provide support, guidance and training for PBM-related matters to members of the Pharmaceutical Benefits and Innovation team and others in Group Benefits.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
