Ordering: Know how to do all orders and assist with them as needed. Help with warehousing orders and keeping the floor full and presentable.
Price Checking and Tagging: Be familiar with changing prices, costing recipes, and maintaining target margins, and assist as needed. Help the Department Manager to maintain accurate price tags.
Customer Service: Assist in the dept. floor with customers to ensure prompt and excellent service.
Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and department procedures, as outlined and maintained by the Blind Bay Village Grocer.
Delegating: Help with delegating daily tasks. Making/updating trim lists, assigning people to tasks for the day.
Inventory: Assist with monthly and year end inventory.
Production: Assist with production of value added, as required, to maintain department standards.
Training: Assist in the training new hires in areas including, but not limited to, customer service, maintaining product quality, stocking the sales floor.
Will be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Assist the manager with Sick call ins.
Knife skills are an asset
