Krown Imports is currently seeking the right individual to fulfill a Produce Sales position in our Langley office

Krown Imports is a leading importer of fresh produce from around the world, delivering high quality fruits and vegetables to all major wholesale and retail customers throughout Canada. We are looking for an entry level sales associate to provide sales and customer service to lower mainland customers from our Langley office. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a self starter, highly motivated and have a strong desire to succeed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential along with strong math and computer skills. The ideal applicant will be creative, possess a positive attitude and be able to present themselves in a professional manner. Applicants who thrive under pressure with limited timelines will enjoy a very rewarding career in the produce industry. Must be bondable.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships within the produce industry

Assist with customer sales and service to existing accounts throughout BC

Direct sales to walk in cash customers, receive and process cash payments

Carry out warehouse staff sales

Negotiate and settle customer/supplier claims

Prepare paperwork for bank deposits

Monitor customer preferences and industry trends in order to increase sales

Find and follow up on new leads - identify new sales opportunities

Arrange logistics for inter-provincial orders/transfers

Assist with general office duties

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills

Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude

Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines

Ability to work in high-paced environment

Good time management skills

Strong mathematical skills

Highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company's policies and procedures

Produce sales experience would be an asset, but not required

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
