Responsibilities

Assist customers with their selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all products are displayed attractively. Regularly check inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability. Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently while providing friendly service to customers. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve departmental goals. Follow safety protocols when using equipment such as forklifts, if applicable, to ensure a safe shopping experience for all. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding products or services.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, demonstrating an ability to sell products effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Familiarity with cashiering duties is beneficial for handling transactions smoothly. Organizational skills are important for maintaining product displays and inventory management. Experience in cleaning and maintaining work areas is necessary to uphold store standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.15 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
