Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining fresh produce displays, ensuring product quality, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Produce Associate plays a vital role in creating an inviting shopping environment while ensuring stock levels are maintained and products are properly merchandised.

Duties



Stock and replenish produce displays, ensuring freshness and visual appeal Establish excellent quality control and clean product as needed for sale. Assist in packaging produce items for customer purchases Assist with the Ready-to-Go products as needed. Assist in putting out deliveries upon arrival Maintain cleanliness of the produce area, including cleaning shelves, bins, and equipment Perform merchandising tasks to optimize product placement and sales opportunities Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about produce items and offering product recommendations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced grocery environment

Requirements



Previous experience in produce and meal prep an assest Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout shifts Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and merchandising tasks Excellent communication skills Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, weighing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; previous retail or grocery experience is advantageous for understanding customer service expectations and operational procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
