Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services essential to our company's operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing supply chain processes, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials. This position offers an opportunity to lead procurement initiatives that directly impact the company's efficiency and growth. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize costs and quality. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers through rigorous sourcing processes, including negotiations and contract management. Manage vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply chains, performance standards, and continuous improvement. Oversee purchase orders, procurement documentation, and inventory levels to maintain operational efficiency. Collaborate with internal departments such as production, finance, and logistics to forecast needs and coordinate procurement activities. Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations related to procurement activities. Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization. Manage procurement team members by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CPSM or CPM are a plus. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within a similar industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing advantageous terms. Excellent analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market conditions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor relations and cross-team collaboration. Proficiency in procurement software systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of legal aspects related to contracts and purchasing regulations is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
