We have an opening for a full time, permanent

Procurement Specialist

in our Engineering department, at our Alliston store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:



Ensure parts are allocated when ordered and verify that parts are getting on sales/work orders accurately Ensure quality/quantity control is being performed upon receiving Ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner (assign and evaluate) Order items from list with part and work order numbers Receive quote, ship confirmation, invoice, invoice payment confirmation Source new vendors and secure alternate sources of parts when prudent or necessary Shipping, organizing logistics for various items for the U.S. Manage / plan ordering timelines (vendor lead times, shipping logistics) to meet production schedule deadlines Ensures inventory control processes and procedures are followed. Ensures clean and efficient order process, and maintain good records Ensure persistent follow-up with vendors Maintain strong communication with the U.S. team about availability, timelines of incoming parts and parts sales/manufacturing requirements. Minimizes and oversees US deadstock (%), as per company standards. Coordinates all parts returns to optimize return priviledges - monthly, annual and special. Monitors and measures credits, as per company standards. Ensures efficiency and accuracy in receiving information into PFW system. Prioritize work on an ongoing basis in line with department priorities Ensures work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Identify any safety issues to manager. Displays high quality of workmanship and professional image at all times. Ensures adherence to all parts policies and procedures. Ensures adherence to Health & Safety policies and applicable legislation including working in a safe manner at all times.

EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



Post-secondary education or vocational equivalent. Agricultural Industry knowledge is a strong asset Strong knowledge of and experience in inventory control procedures and processes. Understanding of PFW an asset Ability to multitask and regularly re-assess priorities Minimum intermediate level Excel skills Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work in a busy and changing work environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lift 50 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
