Primary Purpose of the Position




Lead and oversee all procurement and supply chain activities to ensure cost-effective, timely, and strategic sourcing of materials, supplies, and services that support operational excellence. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, leveraging advanced ERP tools and best practices. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the procurement team.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance. Oversee the full procurement cycle, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and other procurement tools to manage purchase orders, inventory, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and coordinate with Customs Brokers for timely clearance of goods. Maintain accurate supplier and product information, including pricing and contractual terms. Collaborate with Logistics, Production, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on inventory and supply chain requirements. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks. Lead, mentor, and inspire the procurement team, promoting professional development and high performance. Adapt to evolving business needs and perform additional duties as required.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements



Experience:

10+ years in procurement or supply chain management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).

Technical Skills:

Expertise in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications

(Preferred): CPSM, CSCP, or similar credentials.

Languages:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
