Role Summary
The Procurement & Logistics Associate plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency by managing the purchasing and coordination of materials, equipment, and services required for restoration projects. This position works closely with project management, warehouse personnel, and external suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment, proper inventory levels, and smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
Core Responsibilities
Work with project teams to identify material and equipment needs for active restoration jobs.
Source and purchase supplies, tools, equipment, and specialty items essential to project execution.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and dependable service.
Prepare purchase orders, monitor order progress, and address any delivery discrepancies or product concerns.
Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with warehouse staff to maintain adequate stock levels.
Ensure all procurement activities follow company standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
Review and verify supplier invoices, coordinating with the accounting team for approvals and processing.
Keep purchasing files, contract documents, and supplier records up to date and well-organized.
Support cost-reduction strategies and contribute ideas for improving procurement workflows and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination--preferably within restoration, construction, or skilled trades.
Familiarity with purchasing or inventory management software and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Experience evaluating quotes, negotiating pricing, and working with suppliers.
Ability to interpret job requirements, material lists, and operational documentation.
Professional communication skills, with a customer-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.
Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
Valid driver's license.
