Job Summary:
This role will be part of the Procurement Excellence team responsible for supporting the implementation transformation roadmap to steer the Procurement Function to ensure results delivery year-on- year.
You lead the development & delivery of Global Procurement Catalog strategy ensuring the alignment to the business needs and commercial objectives. You work in collaboration with all global business function and IT to co-create a clear strategy. You will be accountable for the transformation of ways of working and delivery of other key strategic initiatives withing the procurement roadmap.
With one direct report you will also be responsible for delivery of the PO contract compliance monitoring project globally and operational oversight to the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiative Project Manager
Proactively engages and collaborates with Finance, IT and Legal partners as the procurement process systems & architecture lead and ensures systems reflect current business requirements within the global framework
Co-creates strategy with Procurement Excellence leads on strategic initiatives in Procurement transformation roadmap
Coordinates project budget preparation
Supports business understanding of procurement processes and governance, and develop partner knowledge of function and handles expectations
Works with business to assess and implement User improvement feedback requests and enhancements. Gain partner support and approval on target approach
Leads initiatives to ensure timely and on-budget system/ toolset performance
Communicates extensively with internal and external partners
Development and implementation of change activity plans for approved procurement change initiatives.
Supplier Onboarding
Oversees the end-to-end process of bringing new suppliers onboard and ensuring that they are integrated smoothly into the procurement system.
Manages end-to-end supplier onboarding processes that align with organizational goals and best practices.
Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the supplier onboarding process.
Compliance Monitoring
Manage the program to conduct quality reviews and compliance checks on key/high risk aspects of the procurement process, in accordance with business assurance services (BAS) feedback.
Support direct report in preparing timely and accurate responses to non-compliance reporting and facilitate the conduct, tracking and close out
Support the update of best practice procurement policies, procedures, work practices and forms.
Operational Support
Acts as subject matter expert, best practice advocate and system mentor for the procurement order management process, governance, policies and procedures
Manage direct report who provides T2 and T3 process and systems support in APAC region providing guidance, training and purchase order management strategies to the ordering community
Provide a back-up operational support service to the Procurement Excellence Team when necessary
Indirect Management of the Procurement Helpdesk to XX
Provide indirect support for any xScale or M&A activity in the APAC region
Qualifications
5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Procurement, preferably with a procurement operations background
Experience of working within an ERP like Oracle or Coupa is preferred
Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Economics, Logistics, Management, Commerce or Business
In-depth understanding of procurement fundamentals & strategic sourcing is required
Knowledge of, or experience in compliance assessment of procurement processes preferred
Strong communication and influencing skills
Demonstrable leadership ability of planning, managing, and delivering complex projects at a cross-functional or enterprise-wide level
Strong change management credentials, ability to develop a compelling vision & execute the strategy with excellence
Knowledge of new Procurement technologies, tools and ongoing innovations
