Job Description
We are collaborating with one of our clients in the construction industry, based in Baie d\'Urf\xc3\xa9, to find a Procurement Director. This individual will be tasked with creating a new department according to their vision. Join us in shaping the future of this dynamic company!
Reporting to the general director, this person will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project timelines, budgets, and specifications;
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for money;
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including issuing purchase orders and receiving goods and services;
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure procurement activities are aligned with project schedules and budgets;
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply of materials, supplies, and services;
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and finance, to ensure procurement activities align with company goals;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Monitor procurement performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
