Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the
Procurement Coordinator
is responsible for planning and ensuring the smooth execution of daily procurement activities related to lettuce, shallots, leeks, boxes, and pallets. The coordinator supports the needs of our three factories, three fields, and external suppliers. Using forecasts and MRP systems, the coordinator rigorously monitors and manages procurement while actively contributing to purchasing, sales, and transportation activities.
The selected candidate will join a dynamic team of over 20 people and work closely with both internal and external partners, as well as with other divisions of the organization.

We will begin transitioning from Excel to an ERP system in the coming year--an exciting challenge and a unique opportunity for the candidate to contribute to a strategic transformation project.

Main Responsibilities
Independently and creatively manage various procurement challenges--urgent or planned
Organize and ensure the smooth running of daily procurement logistics operations
Update inventory and harvest tracking spreadsheets daily
Plan and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with the transportation team
Respond quickly and effectively to last-minute logistics issues
Track incoming raw material appointments with internal teams
Efficiently manage purchase orders, including: issuing, creating, approving, accepting terms and conditions, tracking deliveries, controlling documentation, handling claims, and processing invoices
Approve receiving reports, ensure quality standards are met, and follow up with suppliers
Establish the weekly procurement plan for assigned internal and external suppliers (via Excel and ERP)
Respond daily to changes in inventory, harvests, demand, and their fluctuations
Identify risk situations and take necessary actions in collaboration with various stakeholders
Act as a liaison between the purchasing team, suppliers, and internal clients
Manage inventory and develop salad "recipes" to be used in the next day's production
Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders (in English and French)
Generate various reports and compile statistics
Support the immediate supervisor with various tasks
Main Responsibilities

Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the agri-food industry
Hold a university degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or any related field (other relevant training may also be considered)
Enrollment in a professional Supply Chain Management program (e.g., PGCA, ISM, APICS) is an asset
Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our two other plants in Florida and British Columbia, as well as with various suppliers
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP and MRP systems (required)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong analytical thinking
Adaptable and comfortable with change; demonstrates flexibility
Proven ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and handle procurement-related challenges
Strong priority and stress management skills
