Position Overview:
The
Procurement and Logistics Associate
will support day-to-day procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate purchasing of materials, equipment, and services needed for restoration projects. This role will work closely with project managers, warehouse teams, and vendors to maintain inventory, track orders, and ensure smooth operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to determine purchasing needs for restoration projects
Source and procure materials, supplies, equipment, and specialized products required for restoration services
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable delivery
Create purchase orders, track order status, and resolve delivery or quality issues
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain adequate stock
Ensure all purchasing activities meet company standards, compliance requirements, and budget guidelines
Review invoices for accuracy and coordinate with accounting for approvals and processing
Maintain organized purchasing records, supplier files, contracts, and documentation
Support cost-saving initiatives and help identify opportunities for improved purchasing efficiency
Required Knowledge and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support (restoration, construction, or trades-related industry preferred)
Experience using procurement or inventory management systems, as well as the Office 365 suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Experience reviewing quotes, comparing pricing, and negotiating with suppliers
Ability to read and understand job scopes, material lists, and operational requirements
Strong customer service mindset, with professionalism, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external vendors
