Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Process Technician - Painter/ Masker who will be reported to the Assembly Supervisor. The Process Technician - Painter/Masker will be involved in the preparation and the spray application of primer along with topcoat, and sealant on aircraft components machined on site.

Work Location: Onsite at Oakville Facility, Ontario - Canada

Work Shift: Afternoon Shift - Monday - Thursday (4x10); from 4:00 pm - 2:00 am

Relocation allowance will not be provided to this position

Responsibilities:

• Painting, Cleaning, masking, attaching fixtures and demasking
• Booth and equipment maintenance
• Part loading/unloading
• Participation in cross-functional training in related processes as required
• Provide support to ongoing implementation of lean principles, along with workplace organization and TPM
• Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Grade 12 HS Diploma Certificate
• Typically 3+ years painting or processing experience in the manufacturing industry
• Eligible to work in Canada; Successful candidates must meet all ITAR & CCGP requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous crane operation experience.
• Demonstrated eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety practices and procedures.
