BBA is currently seeking a Process Engineer-In-Trainigng for our Vancouver, BC team. tJoin a team that offers high-quality expertise and consulting services. You'll be required to develop and strengthen client relationships, and your role as an Engineer-In-Training will be to contribute to proposals, engineering, technology selection and project delivery for plant services, including biofuels manufacturing processes, carbon capture and utilization, green hydrogen, water treatment, liquefied natural gas, specialty chemicals, lithium processing and more.

Prepare simple plans and basic calculations
Apply established design and calculation methods
Develop mass and energy balances using simulation software
Select and size process equipment
Draft specifications, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications and assessments as well as reports
Where required, participate in various work phases at the office, on site or in a lab
Prepare proposals
Participate in the firm's development and growth
Carry out commissioning and equipment performance testing
Perform routine inspections or technical surveys
Overview of certifications and job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
From 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in the Advanced Fuels and Chemicals or Oil and Gas industry
Preferably registered, or eligible to register, with EGBC as an EIT
Basic knowledge of process simulation
Sound knowledge of statistics and effective analytical skills
Excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
Interest in and knowledge of process control
Interest in the environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent spoken and written communication

Annual base salary between - $67,000-$80,000
