Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Student to join our Irving Wallboard. This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, supporting process improvement initiatives, data analysis, and technical problem-solving. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, production teams, and quality personnel to optimize operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety Collect and analyze production data to support root cause analysis and corrective actions Support trials and experiments on the production floor, including documentation and reporting Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation Participate in cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing Assist with equipment troubleshooting and process optimization Contribute to sustainability and waste reduction initiatives

Support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting by gathering data, updating dashboards, and analyzing trends to help drive performance improvements

Present findings and recommendations to engineering and operations teams.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis tools is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset but not required
