Process Engineering Lead
to provide technical leadership, project management, and mentorship across a range of projects from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead assigned projects as the process engineering lead, providing expertise from concept through construction and commissioning.
Develop and manage budgets and schedules for process engineering work.
Allocate engineering resources to ensure deliverables are completed within approved hours and timelines.
Manage a large volume of deliverables while ensuring quality meets corporate and project standards.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Perform squad checks of drawings and documents.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
Visit project sites as required to provide technical support and oversight.
Qualifications
B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
Current registration with
APEGA
(or eligibility for registration in Alberta).
Minimum 15 years of related experience; operational facility experience is an asset.
Strong English oral and written communication skills.
Superior attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Legally permitted to work in Canada.
