Imperial is recruiting for engineering grads for a variety of positions within the Sarnia Manufacturing Complex organization.

Responsibilities

• collaborate with multiple stakeholders including operations, reliability, and automation engineers to support safe and reliable unit operation
• work with cross functional teams to identify, develop and implement operational and facility improvements with focus on safety, reliability, economics and sustainability
• effectively communicate status of unit operation, improvement opportunities and operating costs to various stakeholders
• participate in risk assessments, root cause investigations, corporate networks and communities of practice
• own unit mass balance to support energy and cost reporting, as well as annual long term plan development
• Work schedule: Full-time position

Qualifications

Academic

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or Doctorate Degree in Engineering
• Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
• Previous industry experience is considered bene\xef\xac\x81cial, but not essential

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required for the role
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals who are energized by working with people and by achieving superior results
• A valid driver\'s license and a safe driving record are requirements for certain positions
• Fluency in French is an asset for certain positions; please note in your cover letter if you are \xef\xac\x82uent in French

Work term: 4 or 8 or 12 months

Eligibility to work in Canada
