Island Abbey Nutritionals provides full contract manufacturing, bottling, and packaging services for white-label production from concept to launch.

The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires close collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes through data analysis and process modeling. Develop and implement process control systems and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Design and test new manufacturing equipment, tools, and systems. Monitor process performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues. Support new product introduction by ensuring efficient and scalable process integration. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Train production staff on process changes and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:



Required:



Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with process simulation and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, AutoCAD, MATLAB). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Preferred:



Experience with ERP/MES systems. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification. Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or FDA-regulated environments.
