Process Engineer, Senior
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Our client, a leading engineering company specializing in modularized design and packaging solutions for energy transition and carbon reduction industries, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer Facilities. This role is based in Calgary, AB, offering a unique opportunity to work on innovative, high-impact projects from the FEED stage through to start-up and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Lead process design for facility projects, including process flow diagrams, heat & material balances, and P&IDs.

• Optimize process simulations for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and ensure the quality of project deliverables.

• Engage with clients, present technical solutions, and build strong, lasting relationships.

• Participate in safety and quality assurance processes, including HAZOP studies and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

• 8+ years of experience in process design and engineering, specifically for gas processing facilities.

• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., VMG, ProMax).

• P. Eng. (APEGA) or Professional Licensee in Engineering.

• Strong understanding of industry standards (ASME, API, CSA) and process safety methodologies (HAZOP, SIL).
