Duties:



Setup, programming, testing, and implementation of computer control systems used for production automation and equipment design. (PLC) Design and develop PLC control logic and HMI interfaces for process automation systems using platforms such as Siemens. Manage the Startup, Installation and Troubleshoot of automated water purification systems and Pilot units. Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation equipment, including process valves, positioners, solenoids, and related control devices. Diagnose and resolve issues related to control logic and mechanical components during system testing and field commissioning. Collaborate with the production team to improve and streamline product assembly processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency in output. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and solving any issues that may arise. Provide technical support during planning and development of purification systems. Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation. Read, interpret, and understand contract drawings and specifications, ensuring conformance throughout work processes. Participate in meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications. Demonstrate effective facilitation, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills Travel within Canada and the United States is an essential requirement of this role.

Qualifications:



Mechanical or Chemical engineer with 2+ years of experience preferred. Experience in PLC programming is an asset. Strong process engineering skills. Previous project management experience preferably in a water/wastewater environment Proven time management skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access The ability to schedule, estimate, design, organize, and write effectively is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
