We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
Duties
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding academic performance Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student learning and motivation Assist students in developing effective study habits and strategies for success
Skills
Strong background in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on subject matter expertise Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner Experience working with children demonstrating patience and empathy Ability to build rapport with students, fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
Work Location: In person
