We are an education-focused organization in the Ottawa area dedicated to providing high-quality academic support to students from elementary through high school levels. Our goal is to help students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop effective study habits through personalized tutoring.

We are currently seeking responsible, patient, and knowledgeable Private Tutors to join our growing team.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to students' individual needs Develop and implement effective lesson plans and educational activities Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement Assist students with homework, test preparation, and skill development Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or adolescents Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate students Knowledge of educational best practices and curriculum standards Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport with diverse learners Classroom experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for education is essential Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate student schedules Reliable transportation or access to a suitable location for tutoring sessions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
