to join our growing team. We are looking for teachers for

piano, cello, clarinet, and guitar

, working with students from

pre-primary to high school

Wage and work hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview.

Preference will be given to candidates with a

teaching certificate or diploma

in their instrument area.

A Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check will be required upon hiring.

Job Overview

We are seeking instructors who can inspire students through engaging and developmentally appropriate music education. Duties

Develop and deliver comprehensive music lesson plans tailored to various ages and skill levels Teach both individual (one-on-one) and small-group lessons Create an engaging and encouraging learning environment Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Use age-appropriate teaching strategies, including early childhood education methods Help organize recitals, performances, and studio events Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and colleagues Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming teaching space

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience teaching or tutoring music to children of various ages Strong classroom and group management skills Ability to teach in

small-group

settings and

one-on-one

lessons Understanding of early childhood education principles (an asset) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creativity in designing lessons that meet diverse learning needs Ability to integrate arts or enrichment activities is an asset (not required) Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for fostering musical growth

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
