Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with a focus on helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, providing personalized instruction in subjects such as Math and Science, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assist students in understanding and mastering concepts mainly in Math. Optional: Science in Physics & Chemistry, and other subjects as needed. Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning. Create a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Proven tutoring or teaching experience in an asset, particularly in high school Math Functions, Calculus & Vector, Data Management Familiarity with Ontario programs, OSSD levels Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
