Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Private Guards to ensure the safety and security of various sites. This position offers an opportunity to work in dynamic settings where attention to detail, exceptional customer service, strong observational skills, strong interpersonal skills, calm and decisive decision making, and proactive security measures are essential. Prior experience in security is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor surveillance systems, to observe activity and respond appropriately to any suspicious behavior Enforce rules and regulation by observing and intervening in incidents Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security observations Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, coordinating with law enforcement if necessary Control access points and verifying credentials when required Assist in emergency situations by providing clear communication and following established protocols

Job Requirement

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices is a plus Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly and accurately Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of alertness during shifts Physical fit: ability to walk around site, stand for prolonged hours Must be able to obtain a security license through the Department of Justice and provide a police background check. Must be eligible to work in Canada First Aid and Naloxone certification is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
