Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Private Chef to provide personalized culinary services in a private residence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, a strong background in food preparation and cooking, and the ability to manage all aspects of meal planning and service. This role offers an opportunity to deliver customized meal prep experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Candidates with supervisory experience, restaurant management background, and leadership skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality meals tailored to client preferences and dietary restrictions Manage all aspects of food handling, storage, and safety in compliance with health regulations Supervise kitchen staff or assistants as needed, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards Plan menus and coordinate meal schedules to meet client expectations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures Collaborate with clients to customize menus and accommodate special dietary needs or preferences

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a private resident (preferred) or residence Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations Excellent culinary skills across various cuisines with an emphasis on quality Ability to plan menus thoughtfully while managing time efficiently Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
NOTE: Must have up to date food handling certificate and valid insurance

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
