We are seeking a talented and passionate Private Chef to provide an exceptional culinary experience. Ideally a chef that has a sports background in preparing food for athletes and is well versed in calculating protein intake per meal.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating expertise in meal preparation, menu planning, and food safety. This role requires a creative individual who can adapt to various dietary preferences while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.
The family is looking for for the chef to prepare healthy meals. Non veg, low carb, Western / European foods.
The cooking would take place in the kitchen of the home 3-4 hours each day Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 AM - 11 AM. Must be meticulous in cleaning afterwards and be well-versed in making steak. All dishes prepared on cast iron / stainless steel. Meals prepared would be simplistic for 3 people.
Duties
-Design and prepare customized menus based on clients' preferences. Chefs are invited to share their own menus to allow the family to choose from the selection
- Grocery shopping for the ingredients though some can be bought by the family in advance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the family to understand their culinary needs and preferences, offering suggestions for new dishes or cuisines.
- Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality at all times. Must clean the kitchen afterwards
Experience
- Proven experience as a chef in the food industry, preferably in private or fine dining settings.
- Proven experience in preparing Western meals and making steak
-Must have experience preparing a carnivore based diet with experience in managing protein intake
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and kitchen management.
- Able to work quickly in a fast paced environment, preparing meals / meal prepping
- A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
