Job Description

MLT Aikins is seeking an associate lawyer with three to five years? experience to join our established and dynamic privacy and cybersecurity practice group in Regina ? but applicants from other locations can apply. The privacy and cybersecurity practice group is an energetic, highly motivated and client-driven team that focuses on advising a wide variety of organizations including public and private sector companies on maintaining data protection requirements and addressing privacy complaints or breaches as well as cybersecurity incidents.

The ideal candidate would have at least three years? experience helping organizations manage cybersecurity and privacy risks and planning for and responding to a variety of cybersecurity incidents and data breaches. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of solid legal ability, excellent research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment and a pragmatic, cost-effective approach to serving clients.

Qualifications include:
At least three years of experience with exceptional academic and law firm credentials
A member in good standing with the Law Society
Significant data protection and data privacy experience
Appreciation of the importance of providing outstanding, cost effective and responsive legal services to clients
