About the Opportunity
The Privacy Analyst is responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of Privacy best practice in their assigned portfolio (Audit). The Privacy Analyst assists in the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to Nova Scotia Health (NSH) privacy principles, policies and procedures.
The Privacy Analyst - Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting audits of access to personal health information and will be responsible for initiating investigations of suspected inappropriate access with the responsible manager and Privacy Officer. The Privacy Analyst - Audit Specialist will design, develop and implement audit processes working with the Privacy team, Information Management and Technology, and other stakeholders. The Privacy Analyst - Audit Specialist is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual audit plan.
