We currently have an opportunity to join the Laurier community as a Printing Services Operator I.
The Printing Services Operator I will work in the Printing Services department at WLU. The incumbent will have a working knowledge of electronic print media systems submission and other data transport systems used in electronic printing, both colour and black and white. Working in a fast-paced environment, the incumbent must be energetic and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. They will require flexibility to change priorities at a moment's notice, and maintain the operation of production equipment. The incumbent will demonstrate their exceptional organizational skills while managing a large volume of print and finishing with tight deadlines. The incumbent will receive goods and related materials to be used in the production, completion of print work and to replenish department stationary supply. He/she will move printed materials, complete bindery processes as required, prepare completed orders for shipment and ship orders to the appropriate department as necessary. This position requires a working knowledge and experience in the bindery equipment and shipping operations of a Print Shop.
