We are looking for a

Printing Press Operator Assistant to work from our Scarborough, Ontario warehouse.Responsibilities
Setup and Operation
: Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications, including adjusting machinery and installing printing plates.Quality Control
: Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary to maintain print quality.Maintenance
: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Material Management
: Mix inks and solvents according to specifications and load materials into the press for printing.Collaboration
: Work with other staff members to coordinate production schedules and meet deadlines, especially for large volume print jobs.Safety Compliance
: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards and protocols.Qualifications
Technical Knowledge
: Understanding of printing processes, machinery, and procedures to ensure efficient operation.Attention to Detail
: Ability to maintain high-quality printing and accurately follow job orders and specifications.Problem-Solving Skills
: Capability to identify and correct issues that arise during the printing process.Physical Stamina
: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required in a factory setting.Please highlight any printing experience in your cover letter!
