General Information:

The Print Production Worker is expected to work 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm.

This position will be based out of the Country Boyz Shop located near Davisburg Community Hall. The Print Production Worker will be responsible for performing the work in the shop productions. This includes, but is not limited to : Printing sign panels of all sizes, printing of decals & wraps, cut vinyl, banners, laser engraving, etc. Some heavy lifting is required. Basic knowledge of power tools is required. Knowledge of vinyl installation is an asset. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is preferred.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

• Receive sales instructions and gather all information required
• Responding to emails and production requests within 2 hours
• Send proofs to clients prior to print
• Once approved select best materials to use to complete the scope of work
• Produce and finish product and prepare for install or delivery
• Responsible for light housekeeping duties
• The production space is your domain and yours to keep clean and tidy
• Engagement with day-to-day support as well as project work planning, providing a visible liaison between office and field operations

Desired Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to navigate windows file systems
• Must have the ability to work as a team or as an individual
• Comfortable communicating with clients and team members
• Must be coherent and sober and able to work in a safe manner
• Must maintain a class 5 license, our facility is in the country is not accessible by bus
• Experience with large format printers (Required)
• Carpentry skills and basic knowledge of power tools (Required)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an unrestricted class 5 driver's license
• Must provide a driver abstract
• Must provide a criminal record check upon request
• Must be a Canadian citizen
• Must speak fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Large format print experience
• Mechanical (small engines, bearings, basic maintenance)
• Electrical (basic troubleshooting or 12V and 120V systems)
• Carpentry
• Trade experience
• Construction experience
• Proficient in the use of power tools, skill saw, table saw, panel saw, drill, impact
• Accurate measuring skills'
• Ability to take directions and notes
• Vinyl graphic installation
• Adobe Illustrator knowledge

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
