POSITION:

Principal, Nelson Christian Community School , Nelson, B.C.


Nelson Christian Community School (NCCS) is accepting applications for a dynamic principal, committed to our mission and values, commencing August 1, 2026. We are looking for a Christ-centered leader with a passion for quality Christian education who exhibits proven expertise in education and leadership. The candidate must be a strong spiritual leader who models integrity and faith with a passion for Christ-centred education.

Salary & Compensation

Salary: $88,500 per year Health Benefits Program: The program is cost shared (80:20) between NCCS and administrator. Covers 80% Basic Dental and 80% Extended Health Care with small amounts of Life and Critical Illness Insurance. RRSP Matching Program: For every dollar the employee puts towards an RRSP NCCS will match 75 cents. Moving Costs: Negotiable

Qualifications

Valid BC teaching certificate Master's degree in education or a related field is an asset A minimum of five years of teaching experience in a K-9 setting A proven track record of effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experienced teacher (minimum of 5 years) with training and understanding of the meaning and value of a faith-based learning environment Principal or Vice Principal experience is considered an asset Acceptance of the NCCS Statement of Faith, without reservation
