Position Summary

The Principal of our Kenmount Road Campus is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for the academic, operational, and community leadership of the campus. You will foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement, ensuring our programs meet the evolving needs of learners and industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead with vision aligned with the college's mission, values, and strategic priorities. Lead campus operations including academics, student services, compliance, facilities, and budget management. Champion a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all areas of campus life. Ensure compliance with all provincial and national regulatory requirements, including those of the Department of Education, Early Childhood Development, and accrediting bodies. Collaborate with senior leadership to advance key priorities, foster innovation, and support ongoing improvement. Engage with local industry, community leaders, and employers to align programs with labour market needs. Oversee recruitment, development, and performance management of faculty and staff. Promote a team environment that values staff development, accountability, and shared success. Act as the face of the campus, representing the institution at public events, meetings, and industry forums.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in post-secondary education or a related field. A Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education. Demonstrated success in team leadership and student-centered decision-making. Knowledge of provincial regulatory frameworks and quality assurance practices in post-secondary education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.

Preferred

:

Experience in teaching, training, or curriculum development. Familiarity with online, blended, and workplace integrated education models. Advanced credentials or professional certifications relevant to education, leadership, or workforce development.

Empathetic, supportive, and collaborative leadership style. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Skilled in using digital tools for communication, scheduling, and performance measurement. Calm and adept at navigating competing priorities.
