Join us as a Principal Solutions Architect and become the strategic technical leader who bridges the gap between ambitious business vision and innovative technical reality.





As a dedicated technical lead, you'll strategically identify Business Development Opportunities while leading complex Technology Roadmap exercises with Enterprise Market customers. Combining deep technical expertise with sharp business acumen, you'll drive revenue growth and customer success across private sectors. You'll be entrusted with high-impact, mission-critical opportunities--serving as technical steward for key accounts while ensuring secure, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.





You'll excel in this role if you thrive on enabling multi-business unit collaboration, mentoring diverse teams, and translating complex business objectives into scalable technical solutions as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external clients.




What you'll do






Strategic Technical Leadership: Lead the design of complex, multi-tiered solutions that span industries and integrate seamlessly with customer objectives. Cross-Industry Expertise: Deliver innovative solutions by leveraging deep knowledge across Cybersecurity, IoT, Cloud, and other domains. Executive Engagement: Collaborate directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals and opportunities. Innovation Driver: Influence TELUS's service development by identifying future trends and adapting technology strategies. Mentorship: Guide and mentor Solution Architects and technical specialists to elevate team capabilities. Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization and uphold the values and behaviors of a senior leader in the business and throughout the extended community

Demonstrated leadership skills - leading cross functional technical teams and take a lead role in mentoring team members by sharing knowledge and best practices throughout solutions and markets. Regarded for being a strong communicator who is able to effectively articulate the vision, goals and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback





Technology and sales driver:




Demonstrated mastery of solutioning methodologies and frameworks with the ability to identify and understand customer strategic needs relative to solution possibilities. Delivery of a future view "roadmap" in accordance with client business needs and industry technology trends. Proven record in strategic selling to internal and external customers





Experience business professional:




Known for creating compelling visions of financial and project-based opportunities Possess a detailed understanding of the sales and bid governance processes and a proven track record of achieving sustainable, profitable business results Post-Secondary degree in relevant engineering, computer science or other technology area and 15+ years of experience in the Telecom/IT industry 10+ years in solution architecture and pre-sales, designing large-scale solutions in telecom, IT, cloud, networking and security.





Great-to-haves




Relevant Industry and technology architecture designations and certifications - TOGAF, ITIL, Ms Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, Cisco, Juniper, etc. Professional Sales certification/s




Salary Range: $128,000-$192,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 30%
