Primary/junior Teacher

Job Description
King Heights Academy is expanding and we are currently looking for dedicated Primary/Junior teachers to join our team at the Thornhill location.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- plan, deliver and assess curriculum in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education expectations
- have a Bachelor of Education degree and a membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- have knowledge of differentiated approaches to teaching, with an emphasis on critical thinking skills
- be proficient with a variety of technology and be able to integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills in order to create a positive learning environment
- collaborate effectively with colleagues and work well as part of a team
- excellent interpersonal skills, including a positive and proactive approach
- strong organization and communication skills
- a passion for ongoing learning and professional development
- flexibility
- Monday to Friday
