Job Description

Scholars Education Centre in Burlington is looking for Ontario Certified Teacher or experienced and highly knowledgeable of Canadian Curriculum for Primary/Junior/Senior classes to join our team . As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a difference in each student you have the opportunity of working with!

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two days per week within our hours of operation below.

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm Saturdays, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Requirements

Ontario Certified Teacher or very knowledgeable of Canadian Curriculum Ideal candidates include - retired, current or prospective teachers Previous tutoring / mentoring experience required Must be able to teach English and Math Working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 Excellent communication skills and multi-tasking abilities Able to work as a part of a team and independently Canadian Citizens or PR holders only

Instruct students in a low student-to-teacher environment Achieve Real Life Results for each student! Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student's individual goals
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
