In the role of

Primary English Teacher

at The Learning Space, you will be instrumental in delivering top-tier academic support to students from

Junior Kindergarten to Grade 4

. We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and high-energy individuals who are passionate about making a significant impact. While a background in early childhood education or an active pursuit of a teaching degree would be advantageous, rest assured that we provide comprehensive training to ensure you thrive in your role. Our flexible weekly hours typically range from 4 to 20 hours, offering accommodating schedules to align with your other commitments. We operate primarily during after-school hours and weekends, offering added flexibility to our dedicated team.

Skills / Qualifications

Current university students / graduates or undergraduates A background or pursuit in Early Childhood Education or a Teaching Degree is an asset Previous teaching or tutoring experience is beneficial, but not required Ability to teach French, math and sciences at higher grade levels is highly advantageous Excellent organizational, multitasking abilities, and communication skills Bright, passionate, and energetic individuals with the ability to connect with younger children A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
