We currently have exciting opportunities within our Cavendish Farms operations for Finance Student to join our teams in Dieppe, New Brunswick, for the Summer 2024 Work Term.

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head Office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Pricing Administration Manager, the summer student would receive an opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Cavendish Farms Pricing team.

• Team player.
• Ability to affectively time manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
• Organized, detail-oriented \xe2\x80\x93 excellent follow-up skills are essential.
• Ability to quickly adjust/adapt to change.
• Problem solving skills.

The Main Duties/Responsibilities of This Role Include:

• Assist with the day-to-day pricing tasks.
• Obtain and organize Customer data to compare and analyze with existing data.
• Co-ordinate with key team members to update key statistics and reports.
• Track and update sales requests based on customer\xe2\x80\x99s specific requirements.
• Data entry and other administrative duties as required.

Critical experiences gained:

• Understanding of end-to-end Pricing area through hands on experience and interactions with sales.
• Plant tour to see our manufacturing process in action.
• Understanding of master data and data quality.
• Learning of Procedure Flow process mapping software.
