PRICING AND DATA ANALYST

Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Pricing and Data Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights to determine optimal pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing current and historical pricing and cost data, conducting labour and sales analysis, developing and implementing pricing models, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret data on market trends, competitor pricing, customer demand, and internal costs to establish optimal pricing strategies.

Use financial modeling to forecast the impact of pricing on revenue and to understand profit margins.

Conduct research on customer behavior and industry trends to support pricing decisions.

Prepare and present reports and visualizations that communicate pricing trends, insights, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

Analyze material and labour cost data to support budgeting and product pricing.

Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Finance, and Product Development to guide and implement pricing initiatives.

Continuously monitor pricing performance and adapt strategies based on market changes, competitor actions, or new data.

Minimum Requirements

Proven ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends and patterns.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical methods and financial modeling.

Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely through reports and visualizations

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, and ERP systems.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and follow through effectively.

A strong work ethic, coupled with business integrity, respect for internal and external customers and a drive to meet and exceed commitments;

Excellent written and verbal communication;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
