The Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's pricing strategies through comprehensive data analysis and market research, ensuring that the company remains competitive and profitable. By developing, maintaining and analyzing large datasets, the Pricing Analyst will collaborate with internal teams providing detailed data models, generating detailed reports on pricing performance, market trends, and competitive analysis, providing actionable insights to management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Data Management
In Collaboration with IT - Develop, Maintain, clean, and analyze large datasets to support pricing decisions and identify trends.
Market Analysis
Conduct thorough market research to understand pricing trends, competitor strategies, and market demands
Reporting
Generate detailed reports on pricing performance, market trends, and competitive analysis, providing actionable insights to management.
Collaboration
Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to and identifying new opportunities that align closely with business goals and market conditions.
Data Integration
Integrate data from various sources to enhance pricing models and strategies.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing analysis and data management.
Pricing:
Work with Sales Leaders to accurately cost bids for large packages of heavy equipment
Internal Sales:
Responsible for the pricing and process sales for internal equipment needs.

Required Skills

Proficiency in using spreadsheet software and business intelligence tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Research skills to gather and analyze market data.
Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams

Required Experience
Degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
Previous experience in pricing, market analysis, data analysis
* Industry Experience along with an aptitude for Sales and Sales related Data would be considered an asset.
