Pricing Analyst

Job Description


We are looking for a Pricing Analyst for a 12-month contract position with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Hybrid schedule, at least 4 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.

Please note that the role does require weekend work as our client\'s pricing activities do require entry 7 days a week due to their system limitations. It would take a few weeks for the candidate to be fully trained to do this work and they would then be put on a rotation of one weekend a month.

Role Description
As the Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for generating, validating, maintaining and analyzing Supply & Customer key pricing contract terms daily (including weekends). This role will appeal to someone who is detail oriented and who demonstrates effective critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and upload benchmark pricing from multiple sources.
  • Analyze contract disputes, identify the root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  • Design & develop process improvements through automated solutions.
  • Communicate operational changes to key stakeholders on Cardlock and Bulk Plant and Commercial business.
  • Collect, validate, manage & input Customer MasterData & contract terms in ERP system called SMS.
  • Generate & maintain Commercial Corporate location rent processes.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Business/Technical diploma or related degree.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel including Pivot Tables & Macros and MS Word.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Customer contract management, trade capture, risk & compliance processes.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP and order to cash business processes.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with ERP systems and customer contract management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to perform within tight deadlines and fast turnaround.
