What you will do:

Perform visual inspections of all chiller equipment and machines to identify leaks, unusual noises, vibrations, or abnormal operating conditions Ensure chemical treatment systems for chillers are operating correctly and free of alarms or issues Change chiller water filters and clean Y-strainers on chiller heat exchangers Service thermalator units Grease pumps, motors, and bearings throughout the facility Clean air compressor filters Add salt to the tower system as needed to reduce conductivity level. Change electrical panel filters on injection molding machines and extrusion equipment Perform minor repairs during PM inspections (e.g., replace leaking seals, O-rings, hoses, etc.) Organize and ensure cleanliness of the spare parts room Check for safety concerns across the facility and report any hazards identified Maintain general housekeeping in maintenance areas

The right candidate will have/be:

Education: Post Secondary education or equivalent.

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Able to read and understand schematics /Capable to learn how to read schematics Capable of lifting up to 50lbs as applicable. Self-starter and able to work in an extremely fast paced environment. Must have own tools. Able to work with minimal supervision and take directions. Able to work in non-climate controlled conditions. Must be flexible to work overtime and possibly other shifts when required based on breakdowns, vacations, etc.
