The team works across the plants to ensure success through enhanced planning and scheduling processes and provide our employees the ability to identify and resolve work conflicts before they occur.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Analyst to join our Maintenance Team in Thompson, Manitoba. This is a permanent position.Reporting to the Integrated Planning Superintendent, the role holder will provide preventative maintenance coordination and analysis to the plant in the area of work management. You will work collaboratively with the plant maintenance teams to meet objectives and deadlines of the Manitoba Operations.Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Input information provided from the plant for the schedule of the preventative and predictive maintenance program.
  • Coordinates the shipment of samples that are going out for testing.
  • Make necessary changes to the Preventative Maintenance program,(example, inspection frequency for select pieces of equipment as determined by the plant.
  • Review the preventative maintenance and related task lists. Validating the information coming back on work orders from the floor to ensure they contain the required information and have been managed correctly.
  • Perform checks on behalf of the supervisors to ensure work orders and task lists are being managed within SAP.
  • Work collectively with peers and cross functionally with colleagues in operations, engineering, maintenance, and services to achieve the objectives of the business unit.
  • Recommend Improvements to area maintenance and operations teams.
  • Generate maintenance reports for the purpose of analysis, (example, missed inspections, last meter readings)
  • Maintain a filing system for historical work order records.
About You:Education:
  • Post secondary education within a related field (Maintenance Technologist Diploma) or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Planning and Scheduling
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP work management systems.
Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience working with excel.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve outcomes with minimum supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
