We are seeking a skilled

Veneer Layout Operator

Job Responsibilities

Lay out veneer sheets accurately according to production specifications Inspect veneer for defects and select appropriate pieces for layout Match grain patterns and colour for consistency and aesthetic quality Trim and cut veneer as needed for assembly Monitor stitch quality and make machine adjustments as needed Perform hand stitching or gluing as required for special projects Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety and quality standards Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Operate veneer stitching equipment to join and align veneer sheets

Qualifications

Experience with veneer or woodworking is preferred but not required; training provided Strong attention to detail and ability to match grain and colour Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work on your feet and handle materials throughout the shift Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
