Press Assistant (Flexo)
, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless press operations and exceptional product quality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist press operators with daily tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Confirm inks, materials, doctor blades, dies, anilox rolls, and sleeves are staged for upcoming jobs.
Set up rails, print, and die-cut sections on Flexo presses accurately following proper setup techniques.
Mount plates and screens, and perform prepress and post-press duties.
Clean and return sleeves, plates, and anilox rolls, ensuring proper handling and inspection for damage.
Inspect dies before and after runs to identify necessary repairs.
Monitor printing presses and cover breaks as required.
Perform quality checks on printed materials and assist operators in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Work proactively with press operators to perform preventative maintenance and follow SOP/CSPs, GMP documentation practices, and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to the production schedule, recommending optimizations as needed.
Conduct cycle counts and investigate anomalies in materials or inventory.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with high energy and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Safety-conscious mindset with basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in flexographic printing
